- CSV worked in close association with DRDA in number of Districts of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh etc.
- CSV worked as a key agency for training in Water & Sanitation. It constructed sanitationunits along with community toilets, and community bio gas plants for generating cooking fues and electricity at:

- CSV was supported by CSIR agencies like Bajaj Foundation, Wardha; Dhariwal Infrastructure Limited, Chandrapur and many other departments and NGOs.
- CSV worked with the Zilla Parishad in all 33 districts of Maharashtra State. Intensive extension work has been done along with the Zilla Parishads of Wardha, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Bhandara, Akola, and Amravati.
- CSV worked with DRDA of all the districts of Maharashtra (Wardha, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Bhandara, Akola, Amravati etc.)
- CSV conducted technical training programs for transferring appropriate sanitation technologies in solid and liquid waste management for DRDA of Himachal Pradesh in Mandi, Shimla & Dharamshala.
- CSV worked directly in the schools and constructed the basic facilities for boys and girls spelled out in the WASH program. It included the construction of toilets, urinals, hand washing facilities, safe drinking water, seating arrangements for having Mid-day meals, compost pits; soak pits for grey water, kitchen garden, and pavements.
- As the Technology Resource Centre of CAPART (an autonomous body of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India) CSV’s design of the Wardha Toilet was replicated in all the districts of India.
- As technical expert deputed for the WASH programs CSV’s technical team implemented the WASH-related projects and programs at the local, state and national level. In all 26 staff members were working in this program.
- Implementation of Government-supported WASH projects :
- CSV has worked on WASH-related projects for Gram Panchayat, Zilla Parishad, State Government, Central Government, UNICEF, and UNESCO
- CSV was considered as a nodal agency in the field of sanitation by UNICEF. It has worked as a partner in implementing WASH projects in 10 Z.P. Schools in the Chandrapur district.
- CSV was selected as Key Resource Centre (Mukhya Pradhan Sadhan Sanstha) for Wardha district as well as for Maharashtra State through a Government Resolution in the year 2014.
- CSV helped TSC personnel associated with Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur in organizing “Global Hand Washing Day” on 15th October 2010. The program was attended by 1000 students of 10 selected Zilla Parishad schools.
- On 15th October 2011 about 10,000 students associated with Zilla Parishad schools of Chandrapur district participated in Global Hand Washing Day.
